A Special Meeting of the Williams Unified School District No. 2 Governing Board was held at 5:30 p.m. on the above date at the Williams High School Library. Board members present: Mr. Nenne, Mrs. Cothren, Mr. Parenteau, Mr. Stilwell and Mrs. Nelson. Also present: Dr. McCraley, Mr. Grimes, Ms. .Fredrickson, Mr. Shipley and Mrs. Schulte.
SPECIAL MEETING
I. OPENING ITEMS
Ø Mr. Nenne called the meeting to order at 5:28 pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Ø Motion by Mr. Parenteau to adopt the agenda, second by Mrs. Cothren. Motion approved 5-0.
II. EXECUTIVE SESSION
A. The Governing Board may vote to enter into Executive Session pursuant to ARS 38-431.03 (A)(1) to discuss an employee grievance.
Ø Motion by Mrs. Nelson to enter Executive Session, second by Mr. Parenteau. Motion approved 5-0.
Ø Into Executive Session at 5:30 pm.
Ø Board Secretary read the admonition of confidentiality to those present.
B. Return to Open Session
Ø Motion by Mrs. Cothren to return to Open Session, second by Mr. Parenteau. Motion approved 5-0.
Ø Back to Open Session at 6:12 pm.
III. ACTION ITEMS
A. Consideration to revise the Extra Duty Salary Schedule by moving the Middle School Band Director position from
Class 3, Sport C to Class 2, Sport B and approve pay increase for Scott Grimes with effective date specified.
Ø Motion by Mrs. Cothren to approve a revision to the Extra Duty Salary Schedule by moving the Middle School Band Director position from Class 3 to Class 2 and approve pay increase for Scott Grimes, second by Mr. Parenteau. Motion failed 1-4.
III. ADJOURNMENT
Ø Motion by Mr. Parenteau to adjourn the Special Meeting, second by Mrs. Cothren. Motion approved 5-0.
Ø Meeting adjourned at 6:17 pm.
