Facts: MO has eight border states. The first ice cream cone was severed in St. Louis in 1904.

1.      The DOW is up this morning. World markets were up.

2.      Foreclosures are high in many states including AZ.

3.      The two Presidential candidates are busy in “battleground states.”

4.      The EU has given a human rights award to a Chinese dissident.

5.      A car bomb has killed 14 in Baghdad today.

6.      At least 25 were killed in a fireworks factory in India.

ARIZONA:

 

1.      A federal judge has ruled that the Maricopa County jails are inadequate.

2.      Many in AZ are voting early. There is an 80% turnout expected.

3.      AZ foreclosure were down in September 10% compared to August.

4.      AZ will have a new safety alert for adults.

5.      U.S. Airways lost $865 million in the third quarter.
