Mrs. Goldsmith is the 7th and 8th grade teacher for Language Arts here at Williams Elementary Middle School. I was born and brought up in Boston, Massachusetts. I am widowed and have one married daughter who is a writer and a painter, her husband is a doctor and part of his job is that he his one of the doctors for the Arizona sports teams. She has no children. I have 4 step daughters, two live in the Valley and two live out of state with their parents. I have 5 grand-daughters. One lives in Phoenix, the rest live out of state with their parents. I graduated from ASU with a degree in English and obtained my teaching certificate from Ottowa University. I have been teaching in Williams for six years and taught high school in the Valley (Desert Mountain) and did research work at ASU and worked at the writing center in ASU. Most of my working background is business related in real estate and development. I have retired briefly, twice. I have traveled extensively both in the U.S. and Europe. I speak Italian. My hobbies and interests include travel, reading, cooking, entertaining, and yoga. I have one dog; Magnus who is a Pomeranian. I enjoy teaching and working with adolescents and derive a great satisfaction from my work. My future plans may include traveling to other countries and teaching English, probable when I am 70 or 80 years old; I am only kidding!! But teaching abroad is one thing that I would someday like to pursue. I love my students and keep in touch with them long after they leave middle school and feel fortunate to have been part of their adolescent years. About me:
