COMMUNITY ELIGIBILITY PROVISION

The Williams Unified School District Child Nutrition Program is committed to providing every student with a nutritious, well-balanced breakfast and lunch. Our goal is to serve meals that are both appealing to students and support their health. We recognize the vital connection between proper nutrition and academic success. Through the Community Eligibility Provision, all enrolled students receive breakfast and lunch at no cost. Additionally, students participating in our afterschool programs are offered a free snack.

If your child(ren) would like to purchase milk, juice, or a second meal, please ensure their account has sufficient funds. You can add money online at www.wusd2.org or send cash or a check to the cafeteria for prepayment.

Second Chance Breakfast is available daily for Middle School students. They can place their breakfast orders with their teachers during morning attendance. This program helps eliminate common barriers—such as arriving late or choosing to socialize instead of eating—by offering another opportunity to enjoy a nutritious meal. Students can eat before school or later in the morning, ensuring they start the day well-nourished. Our menu features low-sugar, whole-grain, and reduced-fat items, along with 1% white milk and nonfat milk. Non-dairy milk alternatives are available for students with allergies, provided a medical statement for dietary accommodations is on file.
