Good afternoon, just wanted to let our WUSD family know that our WHS Girls snd Boys basketball teams are playing the first game of our Super-Regional tournament with the North starting with the girls today, Wednesday. Our girls will play El Capitan at 6 pm tonight. The cost for all is $10 for adults and $5 for students, no free entry tonight, sorry. The boys will play tomorrow, Thursday vs. St. Michael at 6 pm, same cost for this game as well. All Super-Regional games will be on the NFHS Network. Thanks for your support!
Good morning WUSD # 2 Families: Route 3 is running late today by as much as 15-30 minutes this morning due to a mechanical issue. Thank you in advance for your patience. Students will not have their attendance record affected due to today’s unforeseen delay.
We will be administering the ASVAB test on February 8, 2023 at 8:00 am in the gymnasium at Williams High School. The ASVAB test is not only used by the military for job placement but is a useful tool for me to use in helping students explore possible career paths. I ask all 11th graders and any interested seniors to take this test. However, if you would like to opt your student out of this please sign the opt out paperwork I have provided your student and have your student return this paper to the front office. I hope you will allow your student to take this as it is one of many tools I use to help your student find an initial direction for life after high school. Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have.
Sorry to send this to all Jr High students, but message is important about changes to Boys basketball games scheduled for Parks Saturday. Schedule has changed due to some teams not having a team. Our boys will play at 11:00-B 12:00-A 1:00-B 2:00-A. We will leave WEMS tomorrow morning at 9:30, please be at the school by 9:15. Thanks for your support.

Good evening, sorry to message late, El Capitan has just called and they want to cancel JV games scheduled for tomorrow at noon and 1:30, due to snow up there. So only the varsity boys and girls basketball teams will play tomorrow at 3 and 4:30. Thanks for your support!
Due to another storm coming in tomorrow, the trip to NAU for the boy's basketball team has hopefully been postponed. We are working on that.
Leave time for Saturday's games in Seligman is 6:30. Students need to be at the school at 6:15. 'A' team plays at 8:00 and 10:00. 'B' team plays at 9:00.

We continue to have transportation concerns related to side roads off 64 and the 180 and the turning ability of buses in town. We also understand vehicles are still plowed in alongside the roads.

If we have school tomorrow, basketball games that were scheduled at Joe City for today have been moved to Wednesday, same times. JV teams will leave school at 10:30 and Varsity teams at noon. Please make sure those student athletes playing basketball bring their black uniforms with them to school. With no school today, there will be no practice today.
