The cost for the physical is $20, no insurance can be used, but please take advantage of this low cost physical and call to make an appointment. Currently only 2 students have made appointments and the event may need to be cancelled if not enough take advantage of this. This is a comprehensive physical with behavioral and dental teams there. They also do drawings for prizes and free goodies. Please call to set this up for your student-athlete and not have to worry about it over the summer. Thank you.

Hi WEMS families. Yesterday was the last day to submit summer school registration packets; however we are extending the deadline through the end of the day today. We are almost at capacity for summer school.
Greetings WEMS Families & Staff: Today during 6th hour, WEMS went into a SECURE. A secure is everyone returns to the building, is accounted for, locks outside doors, heightens situational awareness, and carries on business as usual. There was a threat of a weapon on campus. Students involved were quickly isolated, questioned, and backpacks searched. The threat was deemed to be not credible after investigation/assessment. SECURE was called during this time to ensure the safety of staff and students while the investigation was conducted and the students involved were with school officials in the office. As we concluded the threat assessment, the SECURE was lifted and the school day finished as normal. WPD has been made aware of the incident.
