Good afternoon, sorry to send this to so many people, just want to communicate with all. If we have school tomorrow, basketball games that were scheduled at Joe City for today have been moved to Wednesday, same times. JV teams will leave school at 10:30 and Varsity teams at noon. Please make sure those student athletes playing basketball bring their black uniforms with them to school. With no school today, there will be no practice today. Greetings WUSD # 2 Families & Staff: Yes, it is early, but we are going ahead and calling a SNOW DAY for Tuesday, Jan 17th. Reminder, there is no school already on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Day. There is another storm heading in that will add additional accumulations today through Tuesday night and then the possibility of more snow Thursday. Attention 7th & 8th grade families. In the mail you will be receiving a point sheet that Williams Middle School uses as a matrix to determine if your child will promote to the next grade. It is based on three criteria: academics, behavior, and attendance. We are in the process of updating this form; therefore, a blank copy of what will be used in the next semester is also included. Again, this form is a guide that helps us determine promotion status for each student. Once you receive this form, if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to Mr. Wollman or Mrs. Ragsdale and we will get back to you as soon as term resumes.
