Greetings WUSD # 2 Families: We wanted to draw your attention to a new law. AZ HB 2707 requires schools in AZ to engage in a daily Moment of Silence for at least 1 minute, but not longer than 2. The bill specifies that parents/guardians are the ones who should answer questions and give guidance on what should be reflected upon during the moment of silence. It prohibits school employees from giving any guidance. We are asking each of you to have those conversations with your child(ren) about what they could/should be reflecting on during this time. Thank you for your support!
