Good afternoon WEMS families - This is a reminder that Wednesday March 23rd from 2:00-5:00PM WEMS will be hosting our Spring Conferences for families. Elementary teachers will have conferences in their classrooms. Middle School teachers will all be in the WEMS Gym, come and meet with the teachers you wish to speak to. As you know, this year we have been working on our emergency responses, such as lock downs. In an effort to fill our "emergency buckets," during conferences we will be accepting donations of cases of bottled water and boxes of granola bars to use in the event of a lock down or other emergency situations. If you are able and willing to support our school in this effort, please bring your donation to the school during conferences.

Good afternoon volleyball families – Here is the most up-to-date practice schedule for volleyball. The only change is on Friday. B team will be practicing from 2-4PM A team will be practicing from 4-6:30PM Also, B & C teams will NOT practice this Wednesday due to conferences. A team will have practice at their usual time. Volleyball is playing on Saturday at Parks. The team will depart from WEMS at 12:30PM and return around 6:00PM.

Hello families of WUSD # 2. TODAY at the local Art Gallery In Williams there will be a Youth Art Month Reception from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. This is a free reception for all artist, friends, and family. The Gallery in Williams is located on 145 W Route 66. Artworks will be for sale and all proceeds will go back to the student artist. Thank you.

Just a friendly reminder there is no school next for Spring Break. Rest, relax and recharge for the last quarter. We have parent teacher conferences and the book fair when we return. We look forward to seeing you Monday, March 21.

Dear WEMS Families, This morning at 9:10 AM we completed a Lockdown Drill to practice for the safety of everyone on our campus. The drill was a success! Thank you for your support!

Please join us for Family Movie Night at the WEMS Cafeteria this Thursday, 3/3 6:00 pm featuring Clifford The Big Red Dog. WEMS PTSA will have concessions for sale. Movie will start at 6:10 pm. Admission is free for PTSA members. Otherwise, $10 per family. Please bring a canned food item if you are able to. Thank you.

Hello WHS community! We have successfully conducted a Fire drill today (2/28/22) at 1:11 PM at Williams High School.

WEMS will be getting some renovations as well this summer! Thanks to ESSER II dollars (not our regular budget), WEMS will be receiving new HVAC units with air ionization. District-wide, WUSD # 2 will also receive EMS Smart Controls for all HVAC units, conserving energy, being greener, & saving local taxpayer money. WEMS units are 18 years old with an avg. life expectancy of 15 years. We hope to secure a SFB project in the near future for HVAC at WHS. Stay tuned! Great things are happening at WUSD # 2! Greetings WUSD # 2 Families & Staff: In anticipation of this storm, WUSD # 2 is cancelling all school for WEMS and WHS for tomorrow (2/23/22). We hope this allows families a chance to plan and prepare for tomorrow. All offices will be closed as well within the district. Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day! I just wanted to give an update for those of you who ordered Krispy Kreme's from the junior class. We have been having some communication issues with Krispy Kreme and they are short handed and having difficulty fulfilling our order. We expect to be able to deliver your order next week, but we don't have a confirmed date yet. I will let you know when I have more information to share! Hello ENG 101 & 102 Students & Families, CCC has extended the payment deadline for dual enrollment students until this Tuesday 2/15/22 at 3:00 PM. Unpaid students will be dropped for non-payment on Wednesday 2/16/22 at 8:00 AM. Students can pay in-person at the CCC Lone Tree Campus, the CCC 4th Street Campus, online via their MyCCC account, or over the phone @ 928-226-4237.
