Compassion Challenge for WEMS! We want to see the good deeds of our students and staff! Send us emails of the amazing things you are doing by January 16th. Here is Assistant Principal Wollman taking care of an elderly couples' driveway and Principal Bressler helping the Shadows Foundation with Kiwanis!
Additionally: buses will be on hard/paved roads only tomorrow, no side roads. Thank you.
Greetings WUSD # 2: Due to inclement weather, all WUSD # 2 schools are on a 2 hour delay for Monday Jan 8. School will begin at 10 am. Bus routes will be at their stops 2 hours later than normal.
There is no AM preschool tomorrow.

Seasons Greetings WUSD # 2 Families & Staff: Tomorrow officially begins our Holiday Break. From all of us at WUSD # 2, we hope that you all have a restful, festive, and Happy Holidays.
We look forward to seeing everyone again in the new year!
School resumes Monday January 8th, 2024!
K-2 Families, a reminder that our holiday performances are tomorrow night at 5 and Thursday morning at 8:30. Please plan to walk kids down to their classroom promptly at 4:30 pm tomorrow and sign them in with their teachers. K-2 Falcon Flyers kids will be escorted down to their classrooms. All students will need to be picked up from their classrooms following the performance. We hope you will join us for some cookies at our cookie exchange in the cafeteria. The seniors went down to WEMS to help Kindergarten build their gingerbread houses today. Thank you to Mrs. Hernandez, Mrs. Mitkowski, and Mrs. Gutshall for collaborating on this so our oldest and youngest students could interact on a great activity.

Last week, some of our students and their parents participated in a poetry slam in Flagstaff. A fun way to practice and experience part of the senior curriculum. Thank you Mrs. Gutshall for providing these extra opportunities to our studentes!

Our Ag Science class spent some time learning how to build and maintain a greenhouse yesterday. Great real-world application of the skills they are learning in the classroom, and a great opportunity to give back to our community. Thank you Mr. Johnson for providing that opportunity to our students and providing a service for our community!

Through the generous tax credit donations from our community, we have been able to provide our students with several educational and teambuilding field trips, as well as paying for the CLEP assessment for our honors English students in 11th and 12th grade. These funds are always a tremendous help to adding great opportunities for our students school experience.
