Greetings WUSD # 2: The administration & the governing board would like to remind you of tomorrow's governing board meeting at 6:00 pm in the WHS Library. All are encouraged to attend. Student of the Month recognitions will resume in Sept. and they will be at the site level, no longer at board meetings. Students wanted to be recognized in front of their peers.

WEMS Cheerleading Info & Parent Meeting

There will be a parent meeting on Tuesday, August 5th, after school at 3:15 PM in the WEMS library for those interested.

Cheer will be held as an elective class during 1st period (8:00–9:00 AM), with additional after-school practices Monday–Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30 PM.

To participate, both parent and student must have profiles in FinalForms, with all forms signed and a current physical uploaded. Students who select “Cheerleading” in FinalForms and meet all requirements will see the cheer class on their schedule on August 4, the first day of school.

Incomplete paperwork or missing physicals will prevent enrollment in the class.

Greetings WEMS Families & Staff: We are still on for tonight's Meet the Teacher Event. We are excited to see you all this evening. Please bring those school supplies and smiling faces. Please stop by any time between 5:00-6:30 pm. APS and their security team are on scene across the street. A temporary power line has been laid down on the ground. If at all possible, please avoid parking across the street, along the fence line. The line does run across the road at the intersection in front of WEMS. Thank you!

Attention WEMS Parents & 6th-8th Grade Students Interested in Playing Football:

Football practice began this week and will be held Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Practice will continue next week from 4:15 PM to 6:15 PM.

Please ensure that both parent and student profiles are created on FinalForms, and that all required athletic paperwork, including physicals, is completed. Students will not be allowed to participate without the necessary documentation on file.
