Congratulations WHS on being renewed as a Cognia Accredited Institution!
What is accreditation? https://www.cognia.org/accreditation/
"Accreditation is the launchpad for school improvement. Based on rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria, the process probes the whole institution—from policies to learning conditions and cultural context—to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of every learner. Accreditation isn’t about passing a one-time inspection—it helps education providers meet improvement goals and sustain commitments to better learner outcomes."

Williams Unified School District's Nutrition Program
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are excited to announce that for the 2024-2025 school year, we will offer free breakfast and lunch to all students under the Community Eligibility Provision—no application required!
Program Highlights:
• Free Meals: All enrolled students receive their first breakfast and lunch at no cost.
• Nutritious Options: Our meals include whole grains, proteins, fruits, vegetables, and dairy, with low-sugar, whole-grain, and reduced-fat items. We offer 1% white milk, nonfat milk, and non-dairy milk (with a medical statement).
• Second Chance Breakfast: Middle School students can grab breakfast from carts and eat in class or designated areas, ensuring no one misses out due to late arrival or socializing.
Why Participate?
1. Enhances School Culture: Eating together helps students learn about new foods, make healthy choices, and fuel up for learning and play.
2. Supports Our School and Community: Increased participation means more federal reimbursement, allowing us to purchase fresh, nutritious foods and maintain financial stability.
3. Benefits Your Family: Ensures your child receives nutritious meals, improving concentration and learning while saving you time and money.
Please encourage your child to participate in our meal program daily. For payments on additional items like a second meal, milk, juice, or a la carte, visit www.wusd2.org or the cafeteria.
We are committed to providing meals that are kid-friendly and healthy, supporting both academic performance and overall well-being. Feel free to contact Sandra Angat, Food Service Director at 928 635-4428 ext 124 with any questions or special dietary needs.
Sincerely,
Sandra Angat
