Sports physical date is fast approaching and times are filling up fast - All football players that obtain their physical using the clinic will receive a custom molded mouthpiece. Remember, any athlete that is thinking of participating in athletics for WHS or WEMS will need a physical and completion of all required paperwork before they are allowed to practice. Our local North Country HealthCare clinic has generously opened up a date for all physicals to be completed. Friday, July 15 from 8 am to 5 pm the clinic will be open to do physicals, appointments will need to be scheduled - call 928-635-4441 to schedule, please show up with the correct paperwork filled out and $20 for the physical. No insurance will be billed for this sports physical. If you are a minor, you will need a parent consent form filled out for the clinic to give the sports physical (if parent or guardian is unavailable to attend). All necessary paperwork can be picked up at the Williams High School Gymnasium or Williams District office, Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm, information laid out on tables. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get your sports physical done for the entire school year. Also, the clinic will have a free drawing and goodies, $300 in gift cards. Williams Unified School District #2 will provide free meals to children during the summer. From June 7, 2022 - June 30, 2022, meals will be served at Williams Elementary/Middle School Cafeteria Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am – 8:00 am for Breakfast and 11 am – 12 pm for Lunch. There are no income requirements or registration. Anyone age 18 or younger may come to eat for free. Also, volunteers are needed throughout the summer to help serve meals, supervise children, and do outreach in the community. This is a reminder that Summer School begins tomorrow, June 6 for K-8 students who were selected to attend Monday-Thursday, June 6 thru June 23. Breakfast is 7:30-8:00 and the program is 8:00-12:00 with lunch provided. Buses are running on a limited schedule. Please call during our office hours for more information.

Hello, A few reminders for graduation: Grad Walk and Graduation Practice Reminder:Seniors please meet at WEMS by 1:00 pm Wednesday May 25th dressed in you CAP and GOWN for our Grad Walk through the elementary and Middle School. Graduation practice will be held at 2:00 pm on the WHS football field. Following Graduation Practice, parents of the senior class are hosting a BBQ at WHS under the orange canopy beginning at 4:00 pm. As the weather warms we just wanted to send out a reminder about dress code expectations for the high school. Students shirts must cover their mid-drifts, their shorts must be finger tip length, and arm holes cannot leave the sides of the torso bare. Williams High School is hosting our Annual Scholarship and Academic Awards Night on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 beginning at 6:00 PM. The Awards Night will be at the WEMS Parenteau Auditorium. We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate our students accomplishments.
Greetings WUSD # 2 Families and Staff: On both May 16th and May 30th, at the District Office Board Room, WUSD # 2 will have a Curriculum Forum and Discussion, as WUSD # 2 continues to seek K-12 ELA and Math Curricula. Both meetings will be from 5:30-6:30 pm.
As a reminder, the possible curricula options are on display for public viewing in the District Office Board Room until June 25th.
